I om 42735
case comes from British sources I see no reason for giving
any preference to 'Colfix'
4.
The petition on the subject of "Ray" Signs
to which reference is made in the memorial was forwarded
with Sir Cecil Clementi's despatch No.535 of 17th December,
1929. Messrs. Davie Boag & Co., who petitioned on that
occasion, are General Managers of Colfix (Far East) Ltd.

So far as I am aware there is no prejudice
against Colfix beyond the very sound reasons that it is more
expensive in cost and less satisfactory in result than other
preparations used here.
I have the honour to be,
My Lord,
Your Lordship's most obedient,
humble servant,
lod. Southoch.
Officer Administering the Government.
